Marwan Amchikak

Marwan, franchisee of Le Pain Quotidien in Paris, shares his journey and passion for food

“I have always been passionate about natural health. Although I was trained as an engineer, I knew for a long time that I wanted to start a business in this field. In 2017, I created an herbal shop with a simple goal: to make natural health accessible to everyone. For me, health starts with what we put into our bodies, and that’s what led me to take an interest in food.”

“When I discovered Le Pain Quotidien, I saw the perfect opportunity to align my values with those of an international brand. To me, Le Pain Quotidien embodies what I seek in my entrepreneurial journey: simplicity, quality, and respect for nature. Food is one of the most direct ways to promote health, and LPQ shares this vision with a sincere commitment to natural ingredients and authentic cuisine.”

Le Pain Quotidien embodies what I seek in my entrepreneurial journey: simplicity, quality, and respect for nature.

“As a franchisee, I receive valuable support from the brand. Whether it’s for solving everyday issues or innovations, I know I can count on them. For example, the regular menu changes and new seasonal recipes are a way to keep the offerings dynamic and in line with our customers’ expectations. This also allows us to offer dishes in harmony with the seasons, a key aspect of my approach to health and naturalness.”

“For those considering becoming franchisees, I would say this: take the time to study your project in detail. And if all the indicators are positive, go for it without hesitation! But above all, you must truly embrace the brand’s values. At Le Pain Quotidien, you’re not just managing a restaurant; you’re joining a community that advocates for authenticity and respect for the environment. This is what makes this adventure strong and the reason I am proud to be part of it.”
